Amazing place at the border of an emerald river. The family of David is very welcoming and kind. The garden and facilities are very clean and well kept! The owner just asked me to mention THAT THE DAY 16.3.24 the whole place is reserved for a big party and there will be NO AVAILABILITY that day.

A beautiful place, as described. We planned to spend 3 nights but ended up staying 5. We paid 100 pesos/night/person (200p for 2 people). We loved it there. Easy 15 minute walk to the mirador for Cascada El Meco. Short drive to Cascada El Salto (read up on operating season for El Salto). Spent our days relaxing in the communal palapa and swimming in the river. Also, David operates an excellent taco stand on weekends in the town.. ask him about it and don’t miss it if it’s open.

To flee!! We paid 400 pesos for one night. And the only place where you could land was privatized by the owners. We didn't have the right to access! Wi-Fi is non-existent. Dirty toilet and shower!

Nice spot by the river , which we enjoyed very much! We paid 350 pesos for a night ! Don’t know if the lady decided to charge us more since we didn’t ask before parking the van ! Saw here it was 250 a month ago!

My husband, dog and I fell in love with this place. We planned to stay 3 days and ended up relaxing and staying for a week. David and his family are wonderful people. Basically
I could copy and paste what the last porter wrote. The color of the river is unbelievable. The water falls near by are spectacular! This was one of favorite sites on our 4 month journey in Mexico. We hope to return one day.

This place is special. We tried all the other areas near El Salto but this is where you want to stop. Promise.

$250 a night for two of us in a van. David and his family are extremely welcoming and nice. The property is BEAUTIFUL. Right on the water. It’s so blue it looks fake. Perfect for swimming or SUP to some waterfalls nearby that also look like they’re out of a fairy tale.

The covered patio area is PERFECT for working remotely. It has an outlet, picnic tables, chairs, and is completely shaded with a wonderful breeze. Apparently it was 38 celsius this week and we didn’t notice.

We needed 4 nights to work, stayed for 6. Hard to leave. David also has a taco stand he runs on the weekend.

Sometimes people come to camp at this property too. Everyone was super nice. Good vibes all around. Check my photos to see how crazy beautiful it is.

Ah and PET-FRIENDLY. Our little dog had a blast running around all day and meeting the various dogs in the neighborhood.

As described, beautiful place, amazing views, totally worth it.
250$ per night for 2 people and a van. Its more expensive than the Parque Ecoturistico in town, but you get to stay right by the turquoise water, instead of a parking lot...woth the price difference

Report Check-In

We stayed 2 nights there in our van and we loved the peaceful and secure place that the family provides. You can directly walk (on the side road) to the parque ecoturistico to pay for a boat to get closer to the waterfall. Then, you can walk on the main road to view the waterfall and they have a restaurant next to it with the great view.

we stayed here for 1 night but we could have moved in here we loved it. she charged 100 pesos per person for a nice place with a view of the river, water, a(cold) shower, toilets with paper,a picnic table, a swing above the river. just amazing

Report Check-In

We were charged 150 per person for 1 night. We were the only van there. It's essentially a flat place to park in a family's garden, overlooking one of the most beautiful rivers we've ever seen. The water is so blue it doesn't look real. They rent kayaks for 100 per person too and you can go up and down the river straight from the garden. You can walk up to the Mirador to see the big El Meco cascadas too. The camping has basic toilets and showers too. Nice family owns it.

Report Check-In

Nice owner, paid 100 pesos per person. Beautiful spot right on the river. She can rent you kayaks too. Definitely not big rig friendly, tight fit through their gate but no height restrictions. Clean nice bathrooms and has showers too (cold only I think). Quiet peaceful night.

A little paradise with direct river access in a familys backyard. Very nice setting and friendly family! Toilets, cold showers, BBQ, hammocks.. They also have kayaks to rent. It was 100 pesos per person.
Big rigs and cars higher than 3m probably will not fit because of the trees.
