Description

*Overnight parking/camping is NOT permitted at this location.

See latest postings. No problem and police said ok to stay as long we we liked.

Pulled in and were told to leave by two very rude men. Apparently parking in no longer allowed. They didn’t care to hear that other overlanders have parked there.

Report Check-In

Since May 2023, parking for motorhomes has been prohibited.

Report Check-In

Very safe area, police booth right by the park patrolling frequently. The park is used by locals to do exercise class, after 21:00 it starts to empty, it’s quiet at night considering it’s street parking. Police officer said it’s ok to stay as long as we want. He just asked for passport and vehicle registration to keep a record of who’s staying there.

Report Check-In

This is THE place to stay in Buenos Aires. Everything else is just going to be a busy racket. Specifically there is a little one way feeder street to that I highly recommend as hardly anyone drives by. Had a really pleasant Friday night.

P.S. During the summer it’s also considerably cooler over here than in the city.

Report Check-In

Report Check-In

Spent one night here. Police nearby. Almost no traffic in the morning. In the night quite some people on CrossFit classes.
There are fountains as indicated on the map.

Report Check-In

Passei 3 noites nessa via. Polícia próxima (menos de 200m) ciente dos motorhomes, patrulham a região toda a noite. Por ser um local central, pela manhã, todas as vagas ao redor ficam ocupadas, permanecendo assim até o fim da tarde.

Report Check-In

passamos alguns dias por aqui. muito tranquilo o lugar. gostamos muito. dormimos muito bem.
abraço Expedição sem Rumo

Report Check-In

Excellent place to park.

Report Check-In

Stayed 3 Nights, everything is written already.
No one said that we have to leave. Everything fine and save.

Report Check-In

Good spot, we stayed here for 2 weeks while following Spanish courses in the centre. Toilets still available in Grey building but close at 6pm. Water tap close-by. In the reserva Ecologica there are outside showers which you can use for refreshing yourselves for free.
It's a secure spot but you often have a lto of children playing until late in the night / early in morning in the playground next to it so did not always have the best nights over here.

Report Check-In

it's just perfect! in the middle of the city but very calm and secure. we left our car here for the whole day and made sightseeing.

Report Check-In

We stayed here for 5 days. Perfect stay to stay with a van in BA. Potable water just at the front and possibly to fill water also in the next street if you need few liters. Toilets at 3 min walking (grey building) on the way to the reserve are open from 9.30am to 18pm.
Toilet also at the jumbo and a lavanderia too.
For the shower there ia only one for 50$ pp with hot water but it's located in the only favela around, so ask before at the entrance of the favela if it's fine to go and go during the day (that was perfectly fine for us).

very quiet during the week less in the weekend but great place to leave the car all day to visit (even at night).

Enjoy

Saw police and asked if o.k. to park there for a week or so and they said yes. We parked across from the rose gardens on the south side of the street so our table window looked across the street at the rose gardens (roses were still there in early February) and could enjoy the green lawn right outside our door. From about 9:30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. street is parked full. Find any place in the area that you can park and then move over there early or late in the day. 2 km to Plaza de Mayo. No subway stops on that side of the river so about a 2 km walk to nearest subway. Fun to watch joggers and exercisers every weekday evenings.

Report Check-In

Close to the promonade we found a spot at the Av. Int. Hernan M. Gerald.
A little bit noisy, but ok.

Report Check-In

Couldn’t stay here. Nice big flat lot but when we pulled in we were approached by two very rude men that told us to leave and that we can’t park there. They didn’t care to hear that other overlanders have parked here.

Report Check-In

Good and free place to stay while visiting Buenos Aires

Report Check-In

Not very quiet at night at weekends. Water is potable. Even a toilette in the corner cause works ongoing.

Report Check-In

Save your money, no need to spend it on parkings!

We stayed here 7 days without moving the car once. We had no problems with car theft or break-ins and did not witness any. There are free water spots all around, we just washed there and nobody cared. With so many hañf-naked joggers, we blend right in. Public toilets are on two of the bridges to Puerto Madero, open 9-18 and the Jumbo a bit south also has them. If you park one street to the east instead, there's slightly more traffic but you can park in the shade for almost the whole day, still protected by police patrols.

PS: as in all of Buenos Aires, beware of petty theft. Have a tight grab on your backpack, even in this park. Do not leave car doors open without watching the vehicle. We witnessed 2 grab-and-run thefts, one of them here.

Report Check-In

Free. A safe area with security guards 24/7. We parked on weekend here. Very silent, no cars are driving. Near to the center. Locals have picnic and doing sports. A a playground you can find drinking-water.

Report Check-In

Thanks for the spot, best one in Buenos Aires. Very safe, police are always on patrol, this is the most expensive neighbourhood of BA. Grassy Park, water, benchs. There is a supermarket Jumbo on Lola Mora nearby. Free wifi at the mac Donald near the bridge up north. Very good spot.

Report Check-In

A lot of parking at night but full during the day, free
no trafic during the night. Safety, the police is near 24h a day7
close to the center.
