Big and nice campground with a lot of tables and trees. Friendly people and there is a small shop. You can get fresh fish outside and there are some shops in walking distance. Toilets and showers are not the newest but were clean. we payed 500pp, no charging for tents or vehicles.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
2200 pesos for 2 people and camper. Very interesting location with fishing boats along the waterfront. The bathrooms are still bad, no improvement from 6 months ago. However, the showers (follow the sign inside to 'caballeros'??) are very good. Lots and lots of bugs.
Report Check-InThe former free municipal picnic park ( full of garbage in 2018) is now changed into a waste-free 👍🏼 campsite - see new entry from others. The 2 entries should be merged.
Report Check-InWe loved it here. So interesting to watch activities along the river (fishing boats bringing in their catch) and to explore the lovely city of Victoria which is in easy walking distance. The campground is spacious and quiet, mid-week. Flat, grassy space and lots of trees for shade. We paid 500pp but we were also charged 1000 pesos for our motorhome. Seemed fair to us! No wifi. Bathrooms definitely need improvement and there is construction work at present for newer facilities. Exceptionally friendly people at campground and throughout the city.

Report Check-Invisited out of the high season. a lot of hungry but very friendly dogs plastics and shits are everywhere. toilets are locked. free but not pleasant. only river view was nice.
Report Check-InIn front of the entrance there is a small parking lot where we parked our car for the night. In the park “acampar” - meaning tents? - is not allowed. Next morning a friendly man told us, that we could have stayed inside. (in Spanish, so we might have understood it not correctly.)
Unfortunately the park is not well maintained: broken huts, rubbish despite big garbage containers. We did not look into the toilets.
We tried to corrected the coordinates as well, they had been still wrong: -32.63548, -60.16448 is correct.
turn left before the picnic area and you will find some grassy spots where you can pitch your tent. police patrols the area and people who fish will pass by but we didn't have any problems. not the best place to camp because of uncertainty about the legality but good enough if, as in our case, you need a place to pass the night.
Report Check-InPicnic area was partly flooded, direct at the river, many concrete benches, tables and fireplaces, no acampar, we don't stay overnight,
