Description

A very nice campground that is in a beautiful forest preserve with 9 miles of multi use trails. The campground offers primitive tent camp spots as well as paved RV/tent spots. The paved spots all have water and electricity (50amp,30amp and house outlets), picnic tables and fire rings. Quite a few of the spots are shaded with well established trees. There are bathrooms available with toilets and sinks as well as 2 dump stations.

As of 2024, campsites can be reserved through the Kane County Forest Preserve District website at a rate of $41/night for non-residents and $26/night for residents.

Latest Check-Ins

Friendly resident staff and clean, quiet park. Residents of Kane County get fair rate of $26/night. Weekends get busy and extended stays in the busy season may be hard to reserve. The trails and park are mowed weekly.

Very nice campground. If there’s a shower here, they’re hiding it pretty good lol
I didn’t realize when I picked my spot that it was right under a street light. Not sure why some campgrounds put street lights everywhere but still a beautiful campground.
