Huge parking area. free for all vehicles. Probably you can tent as well. on weekends there are parties with music and alcohol.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
I had to leave the place at 2 am. a group of guys arrived with music and a lot of alcohol, the parking lot is big but they stayed next to me. with 5 degrees and rain, they didn't care.Report Check-In
We were there on a Friday night. There was a small family event organized by the village. But at some point, after 11pm, a group of people came next to us in order to party. (Just as a reminder, the parking lot is HUGE)
So, I'm not sure we would recommend this place, at least not during the weekends.
This lot was packed during the day, but cleared out by sunset. We asked the guard if we could camp, he said sure and that the guards patrol around at night. Doesn’t seem like the kind of place to need that, but they are around. They had a propina bucket to give them a tip. One or two cars here in the night. Quiet by 10pm on New Year’s Day, the first week of the summer, where everywhere else was a party. There were a few tents camped in the trees next to the lot. Seems like it could be good for cyclists in that way. We took our inflatable packrafts out on the water, which is a dammed reservoir. Signs posted say no swimming “because the rocks are dangerous” but there was about 50 people out swimming and paddle boarding, so it seems like that’s not really observed.Report Check-In
