Lot sold and changed ownership. Closed off most days with new signage explicitly prohibiting campers and RVs.

not a bad night-stop. might be noisy on busy weekend when there are more bars open and visitors in town.

Large parking lot as you enter old town. Near everything. I had a quiet night. No issues. 3 others stayed the night also. 2 bars Verizon.

Report Check-In

Large paved, level parking lot right downtown. We were there January 2022 and it was virtually empty. I checked at the newspaper office next to the parking lot and she it was fine to park overnight. She asked if anyone was there to collect money. There wasn’t so she said sure, no problem. I don’t know what it would be like in a busier time of year. It was pretty quiet for being just below route 80 and on the main street into town. Room for any size rig, at least that time of year. (There is an RV park less than a mile away if someone should want one.) Good cell. P.S. If you go, drive to see the antique RV park on Old Douglas Road in Lowell less than two miles away (31.429657 -109.891953)

This is a very large paved fairly level parking lot right down town. Hardly anyone was there when we were. We asked at the newspaper office if it was o.k. to park overnight. The lady asked, "Is anyone there to collect money?" There wasn't. She said it was fine to stay there. It was relatively quiet for being on the main street and near the I-80 expressway. I don't know what it would be like busier times of the year.
