Description

MODERATOR NOTE: Place removed because City Ordinance prohibits camping within city limits. Signs posted and enforced

Easy street parking on W Cabrillo Blvd between State Street and Castillo Street next to Santa Barbara Harbor and West Beach. Only parking restriction is 90 minute parking from 9 AM to 6 PM every day. After 6 PM there are no regulations. It’s a busy street during the day but after hours it’s quiet. Earplugs help if it gets noisy. I have camped here numerous times. Keep in mind people without homes do hang out down here and they can be a little bit noisy at times. If that makes you feel uncomfortable, this might not be the best spot for you.

As others have said, gorgeous beach side view with free parking from 6pm -9am. lots of car and people traffic while I was here, but no one seemed to mind the cars parked at all.

Directement sur le boulevard. Autorisé de 18h a 9h. Assez bruyant sauf en milieu de nuit ou c'était calme.

Beautiful place to spend a night! Right on the beach and not too noisy throughout the night. Felt safe as a solo female
