Chedraui | Informal Campsite

Spent 4 nights here. We parked 2 nights on the Chedraui side and then 2 nights by Coppel. We preferred the Coppel side as there is a pollo joint that plays really loud music during the day.

Great stay and was quiet at night. 15 minute walk to the square.

Also there are vendors selling really good street food in the mornings on the Coppel side by the road and bank.

Went there around 10:30pm after being kicked out by a police from an another place with good reviews here and ended up leaving around 2am because we were the only car in the parking and there was people strolling around the car and sometimes parked at the darkest corner of the parking and leaving after 5min, then the security alarm of the bank we were parked next to started going on. We finished sleeping at pemex

We stayed here for two nights without any problems, quiet nights after closing the shop. Colectivos pass a few meters and drive you downtown for 7 pesos per person. Not far from there is a launderette and a purified water store to fill the staples. safe and free.

Stayed here last night - felt safe. Was not loud at all during the night (morning gets busy in the parking lot.)

Stayed 1 night here. It's very busy when the store is open and then very quiet. Had a very good sleep. In the morning realized my car is absolutely the only car in the lot and felt a little unsafe but the night was already past. The pemet bear by feels more safe but loud

We are here today, it’s busy but we are happy to go to the shopping mall and find some happening place.

We parked next to the ATM machines coz of 360 deg camera. We had a good sleep and had no issue. The security asked money for ‘pepsi’ so gave 15pesos (even though he wasn’t there at night).

We spent 2 nights here but not once saw any security driving by at nighttime. We have a puppy which needs to per every couple of hours so we often get out to let him do his thing. It didnt feel really safe at night to be honest.

nice spot typical supermarket and small mall parking. security said it's safe as did some local friends. we left our van here all day and walked into town. good laundry and agua easy walk away too.

very quiet at night. night bathrooms.

We stayed here for 2 nights and left the car here during our visit to the city in the daytime. We felt safe and the nights were quiet. You can walk downtown or take a colectivo for 7 pesos.

Supermarket open from 8a.m. until 11 p.m. Bathroon and restaurants near this area. good place to overnight, safe and quiet.
