Secluded cleared area at the end of a road about 300m off the autoroute 347. In the winter, AWD recommended as it’s an elevated climb. Next to a sentier nationale for snow machines (skidoos) but we never heard any pass by. No signs at entrance of road other than hunting season warning, and it seems to be part of the Matawinie regional park. At the clearing, nothing but trees and nature. Low LTE signal. Path was cleared from last snow dump and no one ever came by.
A few good hiking spots within 5-10 kms of here, or even right off this path.

the place as change, it's now a dirt road (in construction with excavator), very muddy.
pretty sure it's private, but no sign. realy not a good place now, seem like there is going to be a house devloppement there
Very nice spot, close to mont tremblant and Forêt Ouareau, there is a elevated climb but we did it without any problem with a kia soul (no need of a AWD). If you want to continue there are other spot further.. but AWD is better after that if there is snow or wet mud on the ground.
