Spent 3 nights camped on this quiet residential street, only a few blocks from the best restaurant in San Pancho— El Gallo! Highly recommend their enchiladas, which come with a rotating variety of sauces and stuffing (huitlacoche, or corn fungus, was my favourite!), plus amazing live salsa music on Friday nights. This street parking is easy walking distance to the main street & beach, very quiet, and we felt safe for multiple days.

Spent two nights caddy corner from where the pin is for this location. Parked directly in front of a broken down old building that's full of chickens. Turned my vent fan up to drown out the roosters and it was fine.
Only person who said anything did so while I was outside, fixing something on my van, and he came to commiserate about having to fix stuff in the heat.
Two drawbacks: one neighbor has a large dog that barked all night last night. Gonna move to a different location tonight because of it.
The second: my van used to be a shuttle bus. It has shuttle bus doors. I forgot to lock said shuttle bus doors on my first night here. I think, but am not positive, that I was woken up by the sound of someone opening and then closing my door. Nothing taken, nothing amiss, no other drama. Still feels totally safe. Really only going to move because of the barking dog.
We found a couple spots off the main road that worked for a night. No one bothered us and it was very easy to get to the beach & restaurants, but it was fairly hot and loud.
Report Check-InStayed 3 nights in high top Sprinter. Great town. No problems, and all as described by OP.
