Something not right?

Description

A big flat terrain next to a small lake. The access road is muddy, don't drive there after rain unless you have a good 4x4. Because of the deep potholes not recommended for vehicles with low clearance. No services but beautiful reflection of the trees in the morning, I assume that it is good to swim in summer time. Good cell phone signal.

Latest Check-Ins

Came day after rain. Checked it out despite others saying don’t come after rain. Should have listened. Lesson learned. Mud mud mud. My Taco had no issues getting there but spot unusable after rain. Would be a huge mess with all the mud. Can see it being a nice spot when it’s dry. But I’d say only 2-3 usable spots otherwise you’d be camping right on the dirt ring road.

Report Check-In

Small-midsized lake, would not recommend 2wd unless it hasn't rained in at least a week. Open sky for solar/internet with about a half dozen clearings in the woodline to camp, 5G available. Several small groups showed up throughout the day to fish. Wasps and horse flies rampant. Moderate amounts of trash.

Edit: DO NOT CAMP IN THOSE CLEARINGS RANGERS WILL COME FINE YOU VERY VERY QUICKLY. Side of the dirt road is okay, anything in the woods is not. The "clearings" are unofficial and a no-go.

Report Check-In

Stayed here on a Saturday night and were woken up at 2am by a group in cars playing music and talking loudly. They stayed for almost an hour... Relatively quiet other than that being near a major road. We could easily sleep in the pop top tent of our Landcruiser once the group left. Google maps took us to a completely different location so be wary of GPS to this site. The last road doesn't appear on any maps currently. Site conditions and roads from previous reports are still accurate.

Wasn’t able to get in due to large potholes/mud holes. Was in a 2WD sprinter type van. Would be no problem with 4x4 even after heavy rains.
