I stopped in the parking lot around 6pm. And this guy Jose Angelo approached my van and asked if was camping for the night. He suggested me to go to the right, on a little parking lot close to the toilet and picnic tables.
It was a safe place. A bit noisy with music going on late at night, but that is just Mexico, there is always music and some roosters 😅
Telcel signal was bad, on and off all the time. I struggled a little bit to work.

We spent one night here. The guy who helped us into the camping area (with our van, but you need high clearance) asked us for a contribution. He originally asked for 100, we gave him 70 and that was fine.
