Great place so far. The only downside is some traffic noise but I’m sure that will be quieter once darkness hits. No power, 3g att, beautiful location beachfront. Nice swim, yes there are rocks but just wear beach shoes and you’ll be fine.

Beautiful, well maintained camp on the beach. New deck around the pool was finished just before we arrived. Eric, Ventura and Lallo are very nice and helpful. Eric speaks fairly good English, and is very knowledgeable about the area, Venturo is the chef extraordinaire, and Lallo, who is a new employee, is friendly and rapidly learning. Food is available on weekends and sometimes on weekdays, you must try the garlic shrimp and the whole fish but really, everything we tried was very good. They have 2 cabanas with flush toilets and hot showers, several palapas and room for overland vehicles, tents and an RV. The regular camping is served by a bathhouse with 2 flush toilets and a cold shower. The beach is long, the water is warm and the sunsets are beautiful. We would absolutely stay here again.

great spot to camp, right in the beach, wifi, showers, bathrooms, food and water available on site. 150 pesos per person for the night

Report Check-In

The place is great but the welcome is not at all! A swimming pool that cannot be used. The campsite manager put on music at 6 a.m. and we all woke up. The next morning he told us to leave at 11am otherwise he would charge us for a second night !!

Report Check-In

Nice campsite! Very beautiful locations by the sea. Too bad the welcome is not up to the standards of the place...not smiling, music at 6:30 a.m., not allowed to go in the brand new swimming pool (supposedly because it is dirty …) and no water supply…in short, it looks like we are not welcome…we only stayed one night. (for information: 200pesos per night per vehicle)

Spent 2 very calm nights here. No one around, but felt safe.
There’s no water or electricity available and the beach is not really for swimming.
But is a beautiful site with nice people.

We came here by bike and camped in our tent. 50 ps per person.
They served food, including breakfast and the bar was open for drinks. They sell ice too.
These services are only open in the weekends and during holidays.

A lot of Mexican families celebrating their weekend here. Feels a bit like a beach club with the fitting music ;-)

Still 150 PpN for 2 in a camper. Ventura was very welcoming, had a nice chat. Absolutely quiet night, no moskitos at all. Too many rocks for swimming.

This campsite is a gift after the hot colonial towns and busy beaches near Cancun. The other comments are true.

Report Check-In

Not a bad spot… they did have motion lights over the campsites which was a bit over the top when trying to sleep at night. Good spot for camping, beautiful beach a bit rocky in the water but. A couple of cabins available. Clean and safe.

Wc propre. 200$/nuit. Pas d’électricité ni d’eau ni dump.

Very nice place, sandy beach with palms and palapas, simple but very clean toilets and shower. We payed 150 MexPs for 2 in a Van. Ventura, the owner, is very friendly and helpful - welcoming us with a coconut drink. Actually he is preparing two cabañas with a nice view to the sea, he will finish them in January. Highly recommended place!!

Report Check-In

Super nice spot, as previously described. Wouldn’t come here with anything more than 21ft as the spaces between the palapas are tight. I also had my small dog with me and that was ok, there is a Siamese cat here named chocolatee that seems to owns the place, so I would advise bring your dog if it’s cat friendly 😉. No need for a 4 wd, the road in is hard packed and I had no problem with my 2 wd front drive promaster

super spot que je recommande !!
magnifique plage de sable blanc, propre ; installations confortables; personnel très aimable
le seul point noir : moscas ++ se couvrir impérativement à la nuit tombante

The camping is the best that we have done and Bentura took care about us. Alone on the beach. little noise of the trucks on the road. I recommand this site . 4 nights here.

Nice beach camping for 200/night for our family of 5. We were the only ones there. There are palapas. Water nice for swimming but rocky. Ventura the caretaker was friendly, until checkout time...

When we had packed up the next day, we were planning to go for a quick swim and then leave. Our three kids love the beach. However, Ventura came by about 10:30am to inform us it was past "check out time". There was no mention of a check out time when we arrived. After 9 months of traveling Mexico and Guatemala we have never had a single campground mention anything about a checkout time. I expressed my surprise at this and asked if we could have 20min to go for a quick swim after working hard to pack up. Nope. He explained they charge a day use fee and check out for camping is 10am. This would have been nice to know when we arrived. Obviously it's their place and they can run it as they wish, but as a family this left a very bad taste in our mouths. That's just bad business.

Very nice place at the beach. Lots of stones in the water and water is very blury during rainy season. Bathroom and showers are very clean. We helped some new born turtles to find their way to the sea. Host is very friendly. We paid 300 pesos for two nights.

The place is amazing. The toilets and showers were very clean and the whole place was well maintained. We saw lots of turtles while snorkeling. There are some rocks in the water but they re not sharp. On the beach there were many turtles laying their eggs.
When we arrived the gate was locked with a chain. When we called the number on the entrance the owner immediately picked up and said that we can remove the chain and it's not really locked. We had a very quiet night and payed 50 pesos per person and 50 pesos for our car.
If you want to call in advance the number is: 938 140 0726
Only downside is there are some sandflies..
Big recommendation!

Wonderful Place, lonley and peaceful, we can park our Car with Camper directly on the beach. We stay there for six days and there was almost no tourism. You enter from the Highway, after a Gate you drive like 150 meters and than you are directly on the beach. Everything is really clean, toilets are available and shower, when you ask friendly, also electricity to charge your Phones, etc. The price of 150 pesos per night is more than fair. With luck you can see turtles in the night enter to the beach.
And the sixth from five stars, goes to the Manager of this amazing place, he is so kind, try to help you with everything and is Always for Smalltalk and tips and tricks open. WE LOVE YOU VENTURA! Your Honeymoon-Couple <3

Beautiful place on a clean white sand beach, dog friendly. Very friendly people and miles of empty beach to walk along.

Report Check-In

Nice spot on the beach and a bit away from the road noise. Previous info correct. Paid 200 pesos for a big rig with 4 people. Wanted 500, but then changed to 200 quickly. They prep fresh coconuts from the tree for you to drink (2 for 30 pesos), no other food or drinks here. And they have lots of swings!

Report Check-In

was gated and locked when I got here
Maybe only a seasonal thing? Ended up at Tortugero next door

Report Check-In

Gates chained closed. We stayed next door instead. When we approached from next door we were met by a rather unfriendly watchman who gave us every indication to turn around and go away.
