Description

Flat grasy area next to the baseball field with Lake view. The little village Tepeltitic has a super frindly and save vibe. Not a typicall tourists destination. Road is paved to the village, than good dirt. doable with all vehicles. We camped further west between suger cane and avocado fields. Telcel is a little slow.

It is a very safe and pleasant place to camp and enjoy the lagoon. Contact Jonny Lomeli for a tour of the volcano crater and avocado orchards, here is his phone number 311 281 9535

What a paradise and a really friendly village. The road is under construction but you can drive further down at the construction blocking and turn left at the place, where the road ends. Then there you can find a detour.
We asked where we can camp and they told us it's okay on the baseball field. Be respectful, ask if you can stay and pleaaase! take care of this wonderful, welcoming village and the people here!

We had such a peaceful night sleep here and woke to low mist and a beautiful mountain view. We stayed on a little pullout just before the baseball field because kids were playing ball at the time and we didn’t want to risk as errant ball on our van! Friendly people, beautiful town.
