Couldn’t get into the river spot up the road (about a foot of snow with no tracks, February 2nd) so I checked satellite and found this gem. Very short road in with one muddy section was able to plow through the frozen snow. River access & big enough for several rigs. Spent all weekend here and only saw one truck drive old hwy 89. Some far noise from main hwy. amazing stars, golden pink rock formations in distance, abundant sunshine and nice trees. Many spot along the old hwy. fast T-Mobile service

Special little spot by a stream, we were all alone and very, very little traffic on the road. Highly recommend as a tranquil place to chill for a morning. Only downer was some barbarians without a shovel left TP strewn in the bushes. Let's hope they had a one off emergancy and are not leaving a trail of gastric destruction throughout the Western United States. 2wd is fine.

Report Check-InVery nice spot and as the others have said there is a little road noise during the day but very quite after dark. We had a bit of a mountain thunder storm and got some rain that helped cool off from the summer heat.
Report Check-InThe road to get to the site is a bit rough but once you get there, it’s the perfect site! Nice view, clean, well leveled! Could easily fit a few big rigs!
