Report Check-InSummit Aviation is not far and so it's not a good place to hang out during the day unless you're a bicyclist to make use of the trail. Helicopters were going all day and finally quieted down by 9-9:30. No lighting or shade

cars in the morning but everyone has been friendly.
Spent a very peaceful night here. I came in just before dusk, as the last few people were leaving. After the last of them left, it was peaceful for the rest of the night, watching the fireflies.
There is plenty of parking, a couple of picnic tables, and a pit toilet. No running water or electricity, so if using the facilities at night, you may want to bring a light. This was a nice break from more populous spots!
stayed overnight in a truck camper, had no problems. one other car camper. the rest of the parked cars left by 10 or 11 at night, after which point it was very quiet and pleasant. restrooms are pit toilets with no running water, open at night

Report Check-InLovely place to stay. Large paved level parking lot for trailhead. We were the only ones there. A few cyclists arrived the next morning to use the trail. Great spot.
Report Check-Inits a nice flat space with toilets. the campground was full so we asked if we could use the facilities against a fee. afterwards we stood at this spot.
