$18 a night and we were in the overflow! camping spots were huge but all taken at 6pm Tues night. not all spots have a lake view.
thought the fee was a bit steep considering there's no bins or anything. normally a rec site that level would be 12 or 15.

Pretty lake with some great campsites.

Be warned that there are a LOT of low lying branches if you head around the lake in the CCW direction to sites 10-23. Our high roof Sprinter was constantly hitting branches and incurred a couple unpleasant scratches. The road going CCW is very tight with minimal places to pull over if a vehicle is coming the other way.

The road running CW around lake is much wider with no low hanging branches but only 8 sites that way.

Spent a great night. basically had the whole lake to ourselves. Some trees down because of earlier storm but road was in great shape

Great camping spot. Road up is OK. accessible by a 2wd vehicle via north lake. There are a few potholes but any vehicle can make it up if you're going
slow. Most camping spots have lake access with a private dock. There are over flow camping spots a few hundred meters above the lake during tourist season

Beautiful BC Rec Site. Almost every site has access to a doc. 15 minute drive to Egmont’s trailhead for the Skookumchuck Narrows.

Beautiful camp spot. #11 is great, only 2 sites on that part of the road with a walk across the road to a dock on the lake.

Very nice place!
You will seem lost, but follow the road the camping is at the end of it.
15$/night cash only
Nice big spaces and forest between spots.
Picnic table and fire pit
Pit toilet, no tap nor shower.
Very quiet lake, bring your kayak or paddle.
**FYI : the camping is big and the roads are VERY rough. We were in a Sprinter van and it took us 20 min from the entrance to go in our spot (#22). No reservations, only walkin.
Would definitely go back again.

Awesome camp spot! It’s listed as no RV’s on here but it’s definitely RV friendly. We found it difficult to find as google maps couldn’t find a route, but if you follow the main highway almost as far as Earls Cove, then take the right turning as if you were driving to Egmont, you’ll soon come to a fork in the road, take the right turning and follow the signs for the rec site.

Gorgeous lake for swimming, turtle habitat! Widely separated campsites with fire ring and picnic table, each with its own dock past the swishy parts at the shore. Pit toilets. Camp host collects $15 fee. All sites were full when we drove in about 3km of bumpy forestry road, helpful camp host made it work for our one night stay. My 7yo grandson and I found it a quiet and friendly, family campground and wish we could have had longer.
