On a residential street in East Austin, very walkable to some of the bars. I parked after the church but before the house for lease and had no issues for a night.
The street has a few spots that feel like they don't belong to anyone in particular and so because of that I feel like stealth is meaningfully less important. A couple of times in Austin people seemed to notice me fairly quickly but not here.
It felt like one of the better spots I found in Austin, The Lost Well, a metal/punk bar is nearby and good fun!
Big Rigs could try to find a space but it would probably be trickier but not impossible.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Decent place to stealth. Spent a Thursday night here. There is property here that seems to be unoccupied. There are some talkative people that come and go past you and park around you, I believe because there is a bar down the the street. But after 11pm it’s quiet.
1 con though, I was parked on an angle, the curb where I parked had maybe 5-10 degree grade
Relatively quiet street. I rolled up around midnight, and left around 9am.
