Clean and huge campground! $40 if you reserve online, but $29 if you do it here. Since it’s quiet season, just check online and if there’s space I’d recommend to just show up. Clean showers and toilets if you want a break from your RV bathroom like me ! Free shuttle bus into town is nice too

Report Check-In

Good campground close to Banff.
We stayed in the B loop which allowed fires with free firewood.
Showers and bathrooms are a bit run down but are fine.
Would stay here again

After a few weeks in the wilderness this is like a resort, as crowded as one too. Good place to empty tanks, refill and a hot shower. Mostly shaded but not heavy for solar. Close enough to town if you want to hangout. Good mobile signal for US Verizon. Nice

There are 10 loops, only one (J) is without firepits and costs $28.
All the others are with firepits and cost $37, doesn't matter if you use it or not.

Site #44. Beautiful no fires, no services loop. Right next to bike path. Clean bathrooms, showers and dishwashing station. Treed, quiet and beautiful sites. You can hear TCH in the background because this location is pretty near the highway. Convenient though.
Trains run all night nearby, sounding their whistles each time. Pretty hard to sleep through that.

Report Check-In

Huge campground with privacy. We had some deers coming to our site. All sites have a picnic table.

A bear was spotted on the previous day. Bear lockers available.

Free showers. Great sink to wash dishes.

We wanted to park by Lake Louise but no soft tents are allowed due to bears.

Great spot, free showers, free fire wood, close to the village, cell phone coverage.

Enormous campground, but well spread out, peaceful and quiet.

Report Check-In

decent campground
G loop was fairly wooded but still not much site privacy.
showers were clean and fluctuated between hot and lukewarm.
firewood included if you have a site with a fire ring!

Report Check-In

Big campsite with good showers. Not a lot of privacy in your site, but it’s quiet at night.

Nice campsites, 28$ rustic site
Need a permit for fire
Hot free showers
Really close to banff village
A lot of elk!!!

Report Check-In

Nice quiet campground deep in the woods (compared the to other ones west of here which are more like street parking).
Price is good but you still have to pay the park’s day pass as you are stopping in the park. It’s ok if you intended to visit anyway but if you are simply passing through try to find something out of the national parks.

Prix de 28$ sans feu (sinon rajout de 8$). Douches chaudes. A 5 mins de Banff.

Passed by here and was closed for the season. The tunnel mountain campground II closer to downtown is still open if you continue further down the road. Self check in available.

Large campground, all unserviced. Each loop has flush toilets and showers. Pretty open terrain, views of the surrounding mountains. Quite nice. Shuttle bus to Banff downtown is more than convenient!
