Pristine and somewhat otherworldly for colorado. beautiful San juans in the distance. plenty of places to hide away. but be careful if it rains because I bet this turns to a grease pit. but when dry, it's beautiful. three bar Verizon and some spots that you have to drive around and look for it. no services

We found a nice little lot to park in and had no issues. Cool spot. It did get a little windy overnight, but that is to be expected, we were fine in our van but could be an issue for anyone tent camping — check the weather at the very least. Great spot, would definitely visit again.
Report Check-InOff-roading area on BLM land. It can be pretty uneven but there are some flattish spots with fire pits. Great views of the valley if you go deeper in and higher up.
