Great quiet Campground in the middle of the jungle. The hosts Andrea and Sebastian are very welcoming and are continously working to built this place. The cenote on the property is beautiful and feels unique to swim in. You have to accept some insects and spiders (it's in the jungle after all) and dry toilets but you can buy really good fresh self-made bread and sometimes cake from the host.
200pesos per person a night (unlimited cenote access included)
Take the road through Yalkoba and you should have no problem with whatever size camper you have.

I had a great time at Cenote Xnuuk. The palapa with hammocks is great for relaxing. The cenote is surprisingly large and has beautiful clear water. Definitely worth a visit.

Stayed here for almost one week. Andrea and Sebastian, the owners of this place, are really kind and helpful. You can get water from their own underground deep well and Andrea is more than happy to offer you home made bread if you ask politely. The spot is very quiet and absolutely safe. They have a nice shady palapa with some hammocks you can use. They work hard to further improve their property.
Most of the time we had the cenote for our own and enjoyed the refreshing clear water.
We stayed there with two large 8m long, 2,5m wide and 3,7m high trucks and had no issues with accessing the camp spot. Yes, there are some low hanging branches along the road but nothing to worry about.

Report Check-In

Good place to spend a night but the cenote is a bit complicate to access and no blue water. I wouldn't do all that detour for this cenote.
The rv parking space is very small (maximum 3 rv). The dog of the owner is not very friendly with other dogs.
400 pesos per night seems a bit expensive for a place still under construction.
Beware of low trees branches to access! Not for big rigs.

Andrea has been so welcoming and lovely that I stayed a night longer than intended. It's a beautiful place in the middle of Yucatan jungle. Still some things under construction but the main facilities are there and wonderful. Would definitely recommend going to Cenote Xnuuk, even only for the Cenote. You might fall in love with there place and don't want to leave no more. Thanks a lot Andrea and take care. Daniel

We spent a couple of days at this lovely campground and can highly recommend it in every single way. There’s room for tents, small vans but for big rigs as well. The showers and the toilet are clean and nice to use.
Andrea and Sebastian are very welcoming and happy to help you with smaller and bigger problems.
Andrea offers bread and smoothies that are so tasty, if you stop here you must try them.
Oh and they have starlink wifi that reaches your van so you can easily enjoy streaming movies and shows.
And of course, the cenote in their property is one of the nicest we have ever visited!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Cenote Xnuuk, with the lovely couple Andrea and Sebastian. The Cenote is beautifull with fish and stalactites. The bread we bought from Andrea was really tasty.

Me, my wife and my dog just started a road trip through Mexico, we decided to stay at cenote Xnuuk and join the volunteering schedule they offer. So we agreed with them on our arrival date and time.
After driving some 40 minutes away from Valladolid through an acceptable but narrow road surrounded by the pristine jungle you arrive to cenote Xnuuk. The entrance doesn't have any sign with the name, it just says "Private property".
Andrea and Sebastian are really nice people, they welcomed us and showed us where we could park our minicamper, they have plenty of space to fit different sizes of caravans/campervans. At that moment we were the only ones at their place. We arrived around 7:00 pm and it was already getting dark so they just showed us how to find the cenote. The cenote is a beauty, it's an underground cenote, cylinder shaped, where you have to cross a hanging bridge inside the cenote to reach the platform to access the water, which has a refreshing temperature, perfect to have a swim in the hot summer days. They also showed us where to find the shower and the toilet (dry toilet), they were in perfect shape and clean.
After that we got ready to go to sleep and rest to be ready the next day to start helping them with the different tasks.
I have to say, the place is huge ( don't remember how many hectares) and it's in the middle of the jungle in the middle of nowhere, so it's really peaceful and quiet, you fall asleep with crickets and frog sounds. And in the morning you wake up with birds singing.
Once we woke up, we got ready and we got some tasks to accomplish. Andrea provided us with some amazing cinnamon rolls she baked and some homemade fresh fruit juice while we were working.
They expect 5 hours of work from you per day. You have the chance to choose at what time you start working - we recommend to start as early as possible, we were there in summer and at 9:00 am we were already at 32°C/90°F. The good thing is that you have daylight since 5:30 am, and it is not that hot during first hours of the morning. Depending on the task, it is also possible to do it in the afternoon, just before the sunset, when it is not that hot anymore.
The work is for physicaly capable people who are not afraid to get dirty and sweaty in order to accomplish the tasks. Also remember you're in the middle of the jungle, so it's not strange to find jungle friends (tiny spiders, tarantulas, scorpions, different kinds of ants, lizards, birds, and if you're lucky some snake or an ocelot!) We were fine with all these because we were living in the jungle before, but it is something you should consider.
As I said before they provided us with snacks and fresh beverages while working plus one proper meal a day. We chose dinners and they were always delicious (Andrea is an amazing cook!) One time they even took us to have really good tacos in Valladolid.
We only spent 4 nights/3 days there due to forecasted heavy rain. It wouldn't be possible to work in those conditions, and for now there's no place with roof to hide during rain but in your car, caravan or tent (they are planning to put up a palapa soon, though). It was uncomfortable for me, my wife and my dog to stay in our minicamper without being able to open windows or roof fan.
In general we had a nice experience, Sebastian and Andrea are very kind hosts, they will appreciate your help if you go as a volunteer, and if you just go for pleasure they will make sure you have a nice time in their place.
Additional notes: they provide really good internet service, a power line to charge your devices and running water.

Wonderful camp spot with super friendly hosts. The cenote is amazing, and like the previous comment mentioned it’s a very Indiana Jones feel. Make sure you txt the owners via WhatsApp prior to arrival, so they know to expect you. 150mxp per person/night

Great spot plenty room for big rigs, continue a little past the point on Google maps and you will see a private property sign at an entrance, then just drive down that road a bit and you're sorted. the couple are lovely and will bring you for a little tour of the cenote and provide you with all the info and WiFi code. They also have beers in offer 45pesos for bottles of Bohemia beers. they have free firewood to use and a fire pit. fantastic spot. compost toilet and outdoor shower. potable water is also available. the price is still 150pp

This place is a wonderful retreat and I wish I didn't have to leave. Very clean, safe and secluded. Sebastian and Andrea are around to assist you in anything you need but they don't hover. My 22' C Class had no issues accessing the camp. There's enough space to park at least 6 cars. The shower and composting toilet are very clean and tidy. The entrance to the cenote is an adventure with a spiral staircase and suspension bridge underground. $150 mxn per person, well worth the cost for unlimited access to the cenote and camping.

My rig pulled too much power from their 3000 Watt system so I used my generator during my stay but I was able to fill my water tank. The wifi is very good at camp.

Cenote water temperature is not as cold as others I've been in. Access and amenities are currently being updated and will be gorgeous when they are done.

Great spot to spend a day ore more. Having a cenote all for youself is priceless. Loved the outdoor shower! Nice fire ring for an open fire. Super friendly hosts! Just be aware, the road to get there has some low hanging brenches. Especially the last 2 km. We did some damage to our roof, weare 3.5 m high. Go slow and careful.

Report Check-In

The last few kilometers are not so easy due to the low-hanging trees. they are very nice owners and we had the cenote to ourselves. The new price is now 150 pesos p.p. The bottom of the cenote is very muddy, but it's nice. Wifi, shower and toilet available.

Report Check-In

Very nice hosts who set up a nice camp and Airbnb in the middle of the jungle. The cenote is very natural - Indiana Jones feeling included. Through a narrow shaft, a spiral staircase descends 6 m, then through a short corridor and down over a suspension bridge. Natural light enters through 2 or 3 small openings in the ceiling, otherwise only a few artificial light sources illuminate the closed, very natural cenote. Very nice experience!

Report Check-In

One of the most incredible peaceful places with room for any sized rig. The private cenote is just jaw dropping with perfect clear water and dripping stalactites. So refreshing for a dip without another soul around. The German hosts as mentioned are super welcoming and are obviously excited about their land and eventual plans. I’ll add there is now a running outdoor shower!

We were so happy to have discovered this very beautiful place and the impressive Cinote. The entrance to the cenote is a little adventure that is a lot of fun. The owners are very friendly. The campsite is also very nice. It's worth a visit.

we loved this place in the middle of the mayan junge! the owners are from Germany and very friendly, they have thier own Cenote with a hanging bridge inside. 🤩

Report Check-In

This place is just getting starting and you can already tell it’s going to be something great! We spend one night and felt totally welcome by the friendly German owners who can be reached by WhatsApp. While many plans are in the works, plenty of space for parking, a flat elevated area for camping, lots of trees and an awesome cenote! Definitely the most natural cenote we’ve been to , inside a large cavern with some beams of light coming in around 10am. And a super cool and safe (but slightly swaying) bridge down. We loved it! Note that in google maps it told us we arrived before we actually did, we continued down the road until we saw the private property sign.
