I didn't stay. 5 minutes down the road there is a primitive rest area with fire pits, toilets, and further from the road.
Report Check-InEasy access, dirt road among oil fields and desert, this is a large pull off. Good and quiet for an overnight, but not private enough for more than that. Might be more to explore. This is about 45min from Carlsbad
Report Check-InAs described. Paved road until last 1/2 mile. Smooth gravel to site, no problem with low clearance vehicle. Open and level, room for 2 or 3 (small) RVs. 2 bar LTE
