Wide open beach, 3 day camping limit with a pass. Part of the beach closest to trash cans is considered a roadway here so park closer to the water. Easily drivable with 2 wheel drive vehicles.

Really nice stretch of beach. The $12 permit covers all this area including Aransas.
Report Check-InBeach camping. Portapotties and open air showers. AND, Where the local kids go to party, surf, sit around campfires... ...Fishing is on 24/7 with the tides... I am going to assume there are a lot of shift workers in the area, it is busy round the clock. Watch the tides, a strong onshore wind that lasts a day or so can double the tide heights, not to mention the breaking swells.
