Parking and camping spot, Good place to stop, 2 hours from Mexicali. Nestled in the canyon. Some washboard to get there, sandy road but doable with any vehicle. Lots of spots to camp.
We camped when you enter the place. On the right are the pit toilets and when you go straight you can camp behind a rock off the access road

As mentioned heavy washboard road but every car you can drive to this spot. We were the only one who camped there.
Enough space and surrounded with this beautifull colored Mouintain
There are many good pull offs before this spot. Having the toilet is nice! The drive in is Sandy and washboard, but firm. Only one other van was camped out. From here it is an easy walk to the trail head. The ladder trail is worth it. Follow the arrows on the ground.
