This business was recently, and permanently, closed. I would not risk staying, as I heard from a local they may arrest you instead of just a warning. I did notice some of the trailers that have always been there, are still there. But those are known, and will likely be ok. New vehicles would stand out for sure.
Report Check-InWent in at 5 am after the knock on the door by a cop at another location. He said that I could sleep a few hours there and that semi-trucks do it.
Report Check-InThis spot worked perfectly for an emergency pull-over. I arrived around 2030, slept 2100-0530, and left around 0600. I would suggest leaving even earlier, probably 0500 as the area gets busy. I’m in a sprinter van.
Trucks do come late in the night and back in, so leave space for them. There were two trucks when I arrived, one came when I was falling asleep, and the one blocking me from the main road left so early I didn’t even hear it. I was exposed for who knows how long but thankfully no issues. Another smaller van stayed the night with me and also left early. When I woke up at 0530, there were already two employees parked in the main lot. I slept with all of my windows closed and covered to remain stealth. It was 77 at night, and the no-see-um’s were also relentless.
Report Check-InCouple of simi trucks lined up in the evening after IHOP closed. Parked on the far side so couldn’t be seen from the street.
Close to houses so not a great place to run your generator. I hear locals call the police on boondockers so be stealthy. And people walk by at night heading to the businesses next door.
We’re in a 37’ A-class toyhauler with back towards the street. Slider kept in. No knock.
