One of those "let's build some houses but not quite finish it" projects down by the sea. lots of shelter from the wind in the houses(they have no roofs). Also benches for cooking on etc. you could potentially hide a big rig. motos and small vehicles easily hidden. local fishermen had no problem with us being here. A bit of road noise during the night.

Yes this was incredible.
There was a very friendly family living in one of the many sites, since it’s sea kelp season and they collect it in the early morning to sell.
They said the sites are only used in February by its owners. Empty the rest of the year. Said it’s very safe to camp there.
They made me dinner and gave me fruit for breakfast. Beautiful sunsets too.
Abandonned village with super nice views and sun downer!! Good to spent the night
Report Check-InIf you're doing the Nasca to Arequipa stretch, make sure this is your place to crash for the night. A lot of the ones to the north of this spot are joke worthy. Lots of places to find shelter and great to explore in the morning. Beautiful coastline.
Report Check-InStayed here both on our way north from Arequipa to Lima. And, timing worked out for us to stay here on our way back south as well. Fantastic little find just outside the little town. Good wind protection from big rock formations and some of the existing walls. Great find. Little hidden from the road, so take it slow when approaching the coordinates.
