Something not right?

Description

Nice little national park with some trails and a desert landscape. You can camp on the salt marsh, near the entrance at the ranger station or if you have a tent hike into another location. Toilets at the ranger station (see tourist info icon for more info).

Crazy hot during the day, nice and cold at night. Not many visitors, even on a Sunday. The ranger was super friendly.

Free entrance and camping as of February 2022 (regular $5 + $3 per person?)

Latest Check-Ins

Nobody here, no ranger, toilets closed, no water. In the Nationalpark is not much to see. But we felt safe and stayed over night.

Report Check-In

Spend the night inside the park and visit the park in the morning very quickly. It’s a nice landscape you wouldn’t believe to be in Panama.
So the guard told us everything was free but ask if we could give him a donation for his family… we have him 5$

Report Check-In

Super quiet spot, we were alone. The guard is very kind and proposed us a more quiet spot for the night.
The next day we visited the park, even on a Saturday there were not many people.

We didn't pay anything, neither the night, nor the hike
