Beautiful small camping spot along the river. Shelter with a large table and wooden chairs for cooking, eating and store the bicycles dry. Very quite. Pablo is the friendly owner, who came along in the evening. We payed 14,000 for a tent and two persons and were the only visitors. Small supermarket nearby at the main road. toilets very clean, did not try-out the showers.

El Patagon
10.000 pesos for two people and our truck camper. Small campsite, can probably accommodate two vehicles. Each site has a different shelter with seating, a table, and possibility for a camp fire, with wood provided by the owner. Bathrooms are reasonable, although no hot water for showers at the moment as gas had run out. There is a tank with potable water available. It’s a nice, quiet spot for a night!

This is a great little riverside campsite, just 800m off the Puerto Aysén - Coyhaique road (Ruta 240), with beautiful views of the nearby mountains. It is run by a very nice and gentle man named Ciro. To add to the original review, this place now has shower facilities, along with toilet paper and soap in the clean restrooms. The facilities and the camping area are well looked after. There is direct river access which provides great views and the opportunity to fish. There are also two shelters and a fire pit. Ciro readily provided wood to have a fire going, which was a lovely touch. There is also cell signal (Movistar). We travel by bicycle, but there is space for all rig sizes. It is also great value. We were quoted 5,000 CLP pp for two people and a tent (December 2022). Highly recommended.

Note: The coordinates might show this to be directly on Ruta 240. That is not correct. To get there, take the turn for the camping Las Torres del Simpson, and you will arrive at the correct location, right after you pass the Pasarela Los Torreones brigde (on your left). You can not miss it.
