Description

camping at the entrance of the town to San Pancho beach. it is I think pretty new and they are still building it. cool hippie vibes :) it would be too small for big rigs I think. but we were here with our sprinter van with 2 other surf camper vans and 2 tents. free wifi, kitchen, running toilets and cold showers. nice place overall, nothing fancy and no view. 120 pesos per person per night.

We stayed a couple of nights here. Definitely seemed a little unorganized at first, but we figured out the vibe! Warm-ish showers, running toilets, kitchen, laundry sink. There is a side entrance to park your rig to avoid the string lights. Tommy hooked us up, 150 pesos a night, but that's definitely subject to change. we stayed here during the solar eclipse and watched it on the beach. the town itself is super unique, very gringo hippie vibes. cartel selling green in the park, but didn't bother us. Don't try wildcamping in the town, you'll most likely get robbed. the campground is essentially an outdoor hostel. everyone has good vibes, you just gotta take the initiative to be friendly first.

Called them when we arrived in San Francisco and they said the camping is closed due to the construction. Not sure when it will re open

This is a nice place in San Pancho. The owner is very cool it’s a very social environment small and doesn’t have a lot of space but the people are extremely friendly and everyone has been great here.

We checked this place out to camp in our camper. Under construction, looks like nice clean bathrooms with showers. Small lot to camp. We didn’t end up camping because there are some string lights across the entrance and our camper was too tall (11’) to get under them.

Good spot for a night or two if you want to check out San Pancho. It’s a bit of a walk to the beach / downtown. Very clean bathrooms and everyone is very friendly. For vehicles there are two - three spots (two were open when we were there). There is a large area for tent campers / backpackers. Showers are available and there is a small kitchen / hangout area.

If you’re planning to stay here it might be a good idea to have a backup as they’re currently developing the property into apartments and within a few years the camping will probably be gone.
