great site! many secluded areas to find some privacy in the trees or enjoy the shore line. as others mentioned, there's no fee in the off season but the 14 day stay limit still applies. only stayed here for 1 night but felt safe and would recommend
Report Check-InGreat little spot next to the lake. $10 for day use and $15 for overnight. Porta potty and a couple of bars of Verizon Cell Service.
Report Check-InBeautiful spot. Several private campsites were tucked up against the trees, which are pretty flat. Only a couple other vehicles were here, all spaced out so we felt alone. Some 4-wheelers played around after they got off work but left after an hour. No facilities here at all, 100% boondocking.
Report Check-InVery rocky. Sites up against and in trees are more tent friendly. Huge, didn't explore full site. Free in off season. Great spot if you're hardside. Okay if you're in a tent.
Report Check-Inoff season, no fees. no facilities, straight boondocking. massive area, some shade near treeline.
Report Check-InVery beautiful. Open patch of dirt with some views of water and premade fire rings. Not too crowded over Memorial Day weekend. Peaceful. Would definitely come back.
Knocking off one star because a huge box of our camping stuff got stolen while we were on a hike during the day.
Still off season, I probably wouldn't want to stay here during peak time. We didn't go far, just parked near the entrance but it seemed rather wide open. Beautiful views though!
Spotty 1 bar Verizon.
