Description

This is a wonderful place to spend several nights. There is a kitchen, bathrooms, hot showers and the possibility to do the Drakes Bay tours (caño island and Corcovado). You can camp at his parking lot or use one of his cabins/tents. Price for the camping is 10$ a night. With all the rain we chose the option of the floored tent/cabins for 15$ a night. Absolutely loved our stay here and the owner is extremely nice. He can also arrange a discount for the tours if you’re interested.

The campingspots were a bit muddy, due to the rain. The owner was a very friendly man. The showers and toilets were simple but functional. There was a very nice and dry place with picknickseats and a big kitchen, which we could use.

Perfect place, close to the beach, supermarket and village. You can do the Drake hike and see lot of animals for free(it's not a part of park and no need for guide). Clean bathroom, well equipped kitchen, quiet during night. Electricity till 9pm. Recommended. Paid 20$/2pn.

Lovely! Road to get here wasn’t bad in our 2006 sprinter. Aurelio is lovely and helped us find a dive shop, lots of good birds and frogs in the area. Wifi was solid, our neighbors even got an electric hookup. $20/night for 2 people and 2 dogs and a cat.

Very nice place but a challenge to get there. The last 30 kilometers are unpaved and sometimes the road is very bad. But once here it's great. I had to pay 6000 cop per day and then all facilities are at your disposal. No drinking water, no electricity in the parking lot.

Nice hostel in Drake Bay with open kitchen, toilets, (warm) showers and green all around. Payed 7000 each with four persons, bit pricey but the good wifi makes up a lot. Had to push up an electricity cable to get in (we're 2,90 meters high).

Very expensive for what you get, we were charged $30 for 2 people in a 4x4 with rooftop tent, to park on a small carpark at the front of the property.
The road was noisy with cars going up and down the hill and the showers were cold with no doors, just a curtain. We ended up checking into an airbnb for the rest of our time in Drake Bay as it only cost a few dollars extra including breakfast, hot shower and private room. There doesnt seem to be any other official campsites in Drake Bay.

Stayes here for 2 nights, 10,000 pppn for camping. Hot showers and easy to arrange tours in the area.
