Description

*Overnight camping/parking is NOT available at this location.
.....
Free street parking, our 24 foot bus fit well. Two other campers here last night too. Quiet, no houses nearby. Road busy in day but quiet at night. There are some signs on other side of road saying no parking from midnight- 6am but we weren’t bothered and as others have said around Santa Cruz it doesn’t seem to be enforced here. Walking trail down to pond and porta potties along road. Keep it clean and respectful folks! :)

23ft Class C RV. Woke up to a $50 ticket on the dash. There were maybe 15 other RVs parked with tickets as well in the morning. Was a quiet spot overnight. Guessing they probably patrol once every few weeks and happened to be the night we parked here. Signs read No parking of oversized vehicles overnight citywide in Santa Cruz.

Report Check-In

Cop came by at 1am and measured my vehicle, there’s a no parking 12-6am if your over 20ft long or 8ft tall. Luckily no ticket because my van is less than those requirements.

Report Check-In

Plenty of space and quiet spot with lots of other RVs

Report Check-In

This is a really good spot. Wide, open street with little traffic at night, but also pretty freaking close to some cool places in Santa Cruz. We are in a 35 foot skoolie, so stealth camping isn't a requirement, and we have been here three days so far without any issue.

Report Check-In

After checkin out several spots I chose that one because there were several people there. Nobod bothered me. I parked a bit away from the homeless people.

Report Check-In

Stayed the night and day no issues, signs all over the place but dont seem to be enforced. Tons of old rv’s and cars staying and loads of space

Report Check-In

Long road in SC behind/between the campus, parks, the beach, etc. So many other rigs here! Some look like long term occupants. Plenty of space to spread out though. Not much traffic on the road at night time.

Report Check-In

We stayed one night with our 29 ft RV. Many vans, RV and cars, most of them et homeless. We had a safe and quite night. Nice beach just at walking distance. Little trafic start at 5h30 am.

Report Check-In

We tried this spot but it’s not level, big slant toward curb. Also homeless across the street and very busy area. Just a warning.

Free street parking, our 24foot bus fit fine. 2 other campers here last night too. Quiet, no houses nearby. Road busy-ish in day but quiet at night. There are some signs on other side of road saying no parking from midnight- 6am but we weren’t bothered and as others have said around Santa Cruz it doesn’t seem to be enforced here. Walking trail down to pond and porta potties along road. Keep it clean and respectful folks! :)

Report Check-In

There's lots of no parking 12-6 am signs. They enforce sometimes. I used to stay here frequently since I worked down the street, but I got a ticket and stopped going here. It used to be a place where everyone stayed, but now it's all "cleaned up."
