Kelly Canyon exit stay west. USFS Road with numerous pull outs for dispersed wild camping. Just off I-17 which is convenient but you can hear traffic from the Interstate. The gate is currently open, I would assume the USFS closes the road seasonally. Good Verizon coverage

Report Check-Ingate was open, and there were a handful of others staying at various points along the road. main road was dry, found a "site" long enough to accommodate us.

I came in about .6 miles from I-17. The roads bumpy, but my 24’ Class towing my SUV on a Dow dolly did fine.
Parked near a little pond. The other spots for my size rig were taken-but it was Memorial Day weekend.
If I had a van or truck with a travel trailer, I could have found a spot sooner.
4/4 bars on Verizon. There is a cell tower right here.
Saw a few dozen cows grazing as I can in just before sunset.
I was told they graze near the pond in the AM, so am looking forward to that.
About 12 miles south of Flagstaff. But the are gas stations both north and south on the I-17.
Great weather and forest life in May.
There are 10+ sites on this road. Some nicely shaded. And there is even a wee pond. Clean sites, road not too bad. Good cell service since there is a tower nearby.
