There are a lot of places off of the main road to camp. We camped here behind a small dune off the main road as we were late entering Saudi Arabia. A beautiful quite first night in the dunes!!!

Don't know where the previous overlander was looking at but there is a super clear track 100-150 meters east of this spot. Didn't spend the night here but this is one of the few places where you can leave the road towards the north as they built an enormous guard rail along the road. Leaving the road towards can be done almost anywhere.

There is a tone of places of the main road to camp. We camped here behind a small dune and a bit of the main road since we entered late Saudi Arabia. A beautiful quite first night in the dunes!!!
