Beautiful, clean, free camping! The access is only a short distance on gravel from the paved road. The road is washboard but it wasn’t too bad. We flattened the entry a bit to make it easier to get in and out. There are many beautiful spots to pick from along the trail towards the mountains. Super quiet. We were the only ones here.
Report Check-InSecluded from Hwy 8. Flat lots of places to park About 4-5 min off the hwy.
Report Check-InRoad in is wash boardy but doable. Arrived at dark, and ended up on the opposite side of the road as I couldn’t locate the entrance. Walked in first to make sure it was hard enough. Good spot for one night.
Report Check-InWe found a gravel berm that prevented us from crossing into the site. Instead, we camped about ½ mile south on the west side in a site with dozens of dispersed campsites.
Report Check-InNice, quiet camp spot with a couple man made fire rings. Turn left off of dirt road right after the dry wash. Hard packed road with plenty of spots for cars/tents. Can hear coyotes and a bit of highway 8 (more like white noise). Great spot for a night!
