Something not right?

Description

A small turnaround at the end of a dirt road with a campsite under the trees, camp site had a picnic table and fire ring. Turnaround might be tough for big rigs. Had several cars come by through the night but all turned around and left. Quieter and more private than the nearby site, same site as is mentioned in the comments on the other site.

Latest Check-Ins

I’ve been here a few different times. The river is quite full, muddy and flowing, today. It isn’t always. The shade tunnel made by the cottonwood trees is a blessing on a hot day. This is along a dirt path, so you’ll get dog walkers, hikers, and bike riders coming by throughout the day. Be mindful if you have dogs, and keep them restrained so folks can pass without any trouble.
The evening was a bit busy with people in cars, and a truck even parked after dark by me and stayed awhile. It was hard to relax until they left.
I actually prefer this spot for a daytime rest, to a nighttime sleep. No issues, though.

Report Check-In

A turn around at a trail head near the Rio Grande river. A few picnic tables. We were van camping. Could also pitch a tent. Not enough room to turn a big camper. We spent a very quiet night.

Report Check-In

Condition of location similar to what was described in earlier posts, but table and fire ring are overgrown and did not use. Agree that turn-around here for larger rigs would be difficult. No known visitors during the evenings. Walmart and local stores available.

Report Check-In

Nice, quiet place near the Rio Grande. No road noise.
