Stayed here for 3 nights. It is deliciously fresh/cold after the pressing heat of the Yucatan peninsula. The park is great for wandering around.

There is no gate so no problem to arrive late or leave early.

Toilets are 5 pesos but if you use them at night or in the early morning no one is around to collect.

If you are coming from the south don't follow the direct GPS route. It will take you through some dirt back roads. Set your GPS to the other El arcotete ioverlander marker. The entrance road starts at a large sign.

We went climbing with 'vertigo climbing' inside the cave. The owners of vertigo set all the routes so they know exactly what is doable for your level. You can find their phone number on Facebook.

Main parking lot where you access all the things that are mentioned. Takes an hour to walk it if you just need to sightsee. You can ca.p here too. it takes 25 pesos per person to car camp. I had no time. so headed to Palenque.

Great spot. We camped down by the river with our van, it's flat here. Just continue on the dirt road past the little restaurant. Saturday but no one else camping here. Still $70p for two people camping and $50p per person for climbing. We climbed here with Vertigo Climbing and loved it!

beautiful, peaceful spot with an impressive cave arch!
Those days entrance is free if you just walk straight in from the right side, instead of entering the parking lot.

Cheap (35 Peso p.P.) and quiet camping in a clean and well maintained park directly at Rio Fogotivo. There are flush toilets, some palapas and tables. Nice walking in the area to a cave and a big limestone arch with the Rio Fogotico flowing through. No cell service.

A wonderfully maintained park with a natural limestone arch, grotto and a small stream with some well established paths. some fun activities such as zipline, horse rides etc... kiosk on site, lots of picnic shelters with BBQ pits. it says that there is also a camping area though we didn't camp here. we aren't sure if there is only tent camping available but there is a nice parking area inside the park.
