Kuwait- KSA border | Customs and Immigration

KSA -> Kuwait
We had e-visa and this was the second time we entered Kuwait, so we didn't even get off the car, just showed it on our phones. Fast and easy. Nothing to pay (Italian passport).
For the car it took 30 minutes but because they took their time, I think. Anyway, they asked for Carnet and stamped it, we also got an A4 paper and small tickets. The A4 is for you, the tickets you hand them over to the last booth. Nobody asked for insurance and the booth to buy it was closed when we passed (early morning).

First checking they will ask you to go to the office if it's your first time in Koweït or/and if you need a Visa.

Took us 40 minutes to do our both visas. They are not use to it so it takes a bit of times. Very nice officier.
The women must make the prints in the building next door.

We did not pay anything for the visa...

After you go with your car to the customs. They stamped the CPD.

Took us 1h30. Their system where not working well.

They only opened the back door of the car. No scan...

Very easy and nice officers.

Report Check-In

Take photos of the small slip you get from customs after finishing with the papers of yout car in both cases KSA and Kuwait. It allows them.to find quickly the car in the system on the next border.
It took 25 mins including visa on arrival to cross frim KSA to Kuwait showing them photos of the car entry slip to KSA.
When entering Kuwait from Irak you are given an A4 paper also. Keep it with you when exiting and show when again entering Kuwait, it's valid as long as your carnet and saves work.
Both things - photo of slip and A4 to show - we were told by custom officer at Kuwait border.

Easy border with clear process but took some time (3h total). Only fee is the mandatory car insurance (last counter on Saudi side).
Kuwait stamped out CdP, KSA didn't require stamp in CdP. no TIP.
Mandatory car insurance for 1 month 180 SAR

Visa on arrival for Kuwait works at this border, you just need some patience whilst the officers make your visa on their old operating Windows systems :) We didn’t have to pay for the visa.

Crossed here today. Kuwait side very slow. Could not find our cars importation in their system. Saudi as always straight forward
