Only place close to Rawson with good wind protection suitable for every rig. We checked the other spot close by, but it only works for tents or 4wd. On a windy day we found this nice spot on the other side of RP1. Plenty options between the dunes. Silent and peaceful for a night. No claro reception, might be muddy on a rainy day.

Great place to hide away from the wind. This area is a maze of roads and sand dunes. But you can find protection regardless of the wind direction. We went to a different spot than marked. Quiet, clean. Only one car drove by in 2 days.
The road here is paved (apart from the last 500 meters) and in perfect condition.
