Panama
Intimidating inspection with a drug dog by two men in military fatigues and an older man in a polo shirt with some official logo. We were held up for over 30 minutes. It felt like one nice guy who spoke a little English was really trying to distract us from watching the other guys while they inspected our van and filled out their paperwork. I was directly told not to take photos. It felt very off, and we hope there is not another checkpoint ahead to prove us right!

Report Check-InThis is a regular checkpoint between the frontier and the town of Volcán. They do inspect vehicles on occasion, especially those that 'might' contain contraband. I live in the area and have ridden through here maybe 30 times.
