Wild camping spot ready for a morning start at the border. Ground was dry as we were here in April and had no problems getting out and back with a 98 Land Cruiser, but would not recommend in the rainy season. Unbothered all night, saw warthog, jackal and pelicans.

We arrived here at midday and spent the afternoon watching birds and warthogs. Close to the road, so trucks can see you. Some cars even pass in front of you, searching for a better way, but all extremely friendly.
Around sunset it gets awful with all the mosquitoes, but until then we enjoyed the spot. 😂
Very nice spot coming from the arid desert of Western Sahara and Maurentania... With heaps of birds, warthogs, and abundance of green colours. we loved it! parked a 8t truck on the dried mud, it's flat, but very dependent of the water levels whether it's ok to drive/park here.
From here took us max 2h to get to the border, slow and stopping a lot on route.
Accessible even with a 2wd. Nice spot with a view over the dry lake. Lots of mosquitoes
