Description

This is a wide parking circle outside the entrance to Ash Springs Hot Spring. Directly across the street from the Shell Station, but behind a large mound blocking most light and view from 93. I cooked and took a dip in the hot springs. There are no signs prohibiting overnight use, so I stayed rather than heading down towards Alamo. 2-3 bars 5GE service. Pit toilets are located about 40 yards from the gate to the springs. I don’t mind some minor road noise, since this stretch of 93 was very quiet on a Wednesday. I appreciate the convenience to the gas station and the springs! No dogs past the gates of the springs but plenty of room to stretch their little legs in the parking area.

I love this place. 2 bars visible. Dipped in the hot spring even though it said dangerous. just don't let water in your mouth or nose. Lunch at Shell station as well as get water.

good sized packed dirt/gravel area behind a large berm, next to a fenced, closed hot springs (red sign says dangerous amoeba in the water). some nice size dips/pot holes in the road. go slow n you'll be fine. large enough for a Sm 5th wheel. there's a turn around n road in road out. no amenities but can see a vault toilet in the fenced area (fence is open on the end) 2-3 bars Verizon. I'm driving a hybrid suv n pulling a 13' TT. I doubt the road will be noisy after dark, but the berm will help. can't be seen from the road either.

The spring is closed down as of 7/19/23 but, still a great camp spot. pretty quiet and shielded from the lights because of the berm. Great night sleep and on my way.

Still open walk around fence. Clean warm water gravel bottom going to spend the night

Report Check-In

Short road to circle is open. Narrow at entrance but widens to circle. 2nd ok. Room for only one or two rigs but tight. Lots of highway noise. Springs are locked closed and looks like it has for some time.

Perfect little hideout with a secret treasure. I soaked twice and had enough service to work all day
