Campervans need to have RVIA Class B sticker and/or full bathroom/shower. Our van is a Transit 350 outfitted just for sleeping in Florida weather so has none of that, and we were denied our stay despite having a reservation. They allowed us to rent one of their apartments though which was fine.

Camping in a tent amongst all the rvs - they are closely packed but I like this little park. Very friendly lady in reception, excellent clean shower rooms with hot water and a lovely little jetty, minor beach area for chilling on the water - superb sunsets! Shipwrecks bar restaurant just the other side of john pennekamp with $1 beers, pretty good WiFi, there's a lot to like - if you got a spot on the jetty with your rv you would happily live here! On the minus side, the road can be a bit noisy. $70 a night all in which sadly I think isn't unreasonable for this area!
