it is only a sandy road with a few spots to Park, no parking area, trees to low for big rigs and no possibility to turn, formertimes may be an area, but gate is closed and its Dschungel, Google maps also not true
Report Check-InPerfect place to explore the city. Quit at night and close to the beach (which is not the best one for swimming). We spent three night without any issues.

Report Check-InPerfect spot to camp near the center of Playa del Carmen. Super quiet and nobody bothered us. We even had the windows fully open during the evening. There is a tourist police station just around the corner.
Update: stayed here for 5 nights and nobody bothered us. Great place to stay and do some diving.

Parked just around the corner closer to the police station. Really quiet spot for Playa and felt safe.
Report Check-Inparked in the end of the street, closer to the beach. it felt safer because it's close to the police station and to the guard of the Coco Beach. we asked the guard of the beach and he said it's ok.
