Just outside the Provincial Park is this campsite on a little plateau above the river. Lots of room, fire rings and a beautiful beach with lots of driftwood. Easy 2WD access, no traffic on the road (maybe due to it being closed south of here). No cell service.

nice spot 👍 left some firewood for the next person. great for an easy camping night
Report Check-InGood spot, nice grass, 1 bar patchy telus on sunny day if you stand outside. Thanks delica girl for all these great spots in usa and canada - you’ve got great taste 😉
For water, you need to walk 100 m to a pond or further to the river as water levels are low this time of year.
Report Check-InEasy access, 4-5 fire pits there (although there is a fire ban right now, please respect it :). River was quite low but still lovely. No noise or light pollution so we were able to catch some northern lights. Quite a good spot to spend the night!
Report Check-InSecond visit to this spot. Really pretty bluff overlooking the river. There is a way down to the river if you have 4x4.
Report Check-InBeautiful spot. Spur road into camp very passable. Plenty of room to turn around out 43' truck/trailer rig. Room for several rigs to share if they coordinate a bit.
Report Check-InWe were the only ones at this quiet spot. Most of the spots were above the riverbed although there were tracks to at least one spot on the river. The location was as described by others. The road from the south is still closed.
Report Check-Invery quiet, very nice You could also keep on following the main road down to the bridge and camp down there.
Report Check-InThis spot was awesome. So peaceful. No one came by, other than two atv passing through briefly. The sound of the river. Some shade and a few fire rings. There is a lot of space for many vehicles, at least 8 or 10 with space. The river went up a lot during the night, not close to flooding but worth noting. There is a few signs warning about pa road closure due to landslides south of the park, it doesn't affect the access to the site, but make sure you come from the north access from the highway.
Report Check-InGreat stop. Good roads even if wet. The main road just past the camping is closed. There were other campers there but was room at a fire pit. I was getting 3 bars using a cell booster.
Report Check-InWe stayed here for one night. A beautiful spot close to the river. We found some shade under one of the big trees. The mosquitos are still manageable - nothing compared to our last spots in Yukon.
Report Check-InJust outside the Provincial Park is this informal campsite on a little plateau above the river. Lots of room, fire rings and a beautiful beach with lots of driftwood. Easy 2WD access, no traffic on the road (maybe due to it being closed south of here). No cell service.
