This site is on Utah state trust land, which is adjacent to BLM land.
If you go waaaay down this road, eventually you will cross onto private land, but this area is not that.
Why? By checking in after you’ve visited a place you let others know this place is still functional. You can also add or correct any information.
Someone has gone to a lot of trouble to warn people away from this area. probably so they can have it all to themselves, I guess, but it is definitely NOT on private land of any kind. This is Utah state trust land and open for camping with the usual rules. Why do people do this for no reason? if the area were closed to camping, there wouldn't be campers, as there would be signage saying no camping and/or there would be reports of the local agencies running people off, which there is none of. Stop being ridiculous, please!
In fact, after walking around and checking the survey markers, I realized that the folks that own the adjacent private property has illegally posted no camping signs on the BLM and State Trust land. Not sure how they're getting away with that, but it might tell you something about how often the BLM or state agencies come to check on this area.
Another good nights sleep. Several other vans and big rigs here. Road is full of ruts but take it slow. 3 bars Verizon LTE.
Report Check-InVery quiet and not too crowded. Several other vans. A great place to get a good nights rest. The road is full of ruts but you just need to take it slow. Three barsVerizon LTE.
Report Check-InIllegal campsites. This is private property (via Gaia and On X) not BLM. Consult the BLM documents for dispersed camping guidelines. Sheep Bridge Road is the legal option. No camping signs posted.
Report Check-InBeautiful views and amazing scenery, level spots, makeshift fire pits. Some road noise but def not bad. Mind the signs for private property but there are spots everywhere.
Report Check-InStayed here for 3 nights! We stayed at the first pull outs, and always shared with a few other vehicles. Fantastic verizon service, about half hour to Zion
Be careful of the road - past these coordinates is private property until the end of the road. Theres lots of signs out to warn people not to camp but these coordinates are fine.
Report Check-InGreat free spot i pulled in after 10pm so i parked at the only spot left (first little left side pull off on the dirt road) closest to the road. Slept great no noise at all and woke up to an amazing view
Report Check-InPretty accessible road right off the highway. Lots of big rigs and plenty of room. Little noisy but great cell reception and 5g/LTE with Verizon.
Report Check-InStayed 4 nights at different spots in this location. There are signs that say “private property” in certain areas so make sure you don’t camp overnight in the wrong area. If you stay to the right, you should be good. Great Verizon service - 3 to 4 bars entire time. Road is a little bumpy, but manageable. Camp sites are pretty spread apart so you don’t feel on top of anyone
Report Check-InLarge area for multiple rigs. Plenty of space for large rigs, several fire pits, lots of people coming and going, some generators during the day, quiet at night. Excellent Verizon service. Dirt road with some bumps.
