We stayed for a few weeks here and have only good things to say about the place and the family. This really is the best place to stay in Cusco! It’s also a safe place to leave your vehicle while you explore this amazing area. 12 soles per person + 6 per vehicle.

Ok, so we have nothing but great things to say about Mili and her husband.

Due to a medical issue we needed to suspend our tip and fly back to the states. Mili and her husband drove me to the police headquarters one day for paperwork and then another to Sunat to file the suspension. I’d say they spent at least 4 hours helping us get this done. When all was said and done I asked Mili how much we owed her for her assistance. Nothing she says. NO WAY! After absolutely insisting on giving her a tip she accepted. Truly an amazing act of kindness.
We don’t speak Spanish and we’d have been up the creek without them.

The campground itself is great. Hot, long showers. A kitchen. Flat places to park. Everything clean.

Mili is also receiving a couple of packages for us while we are away.

Can’t say enough nice things about these folks.

Perfect place for a reset and staging for Machu Picchu. Easy walk into Cusco for exploring. Lots of open space, hot shower and good wifi. I was able to leave my truck here while I went to MP with no problem. Ended up being here for 2 weeks. 12 soles per person/day and 12 soles per vehicle per day. Extra charge for electricity.

Everything as described. Just want to add that they have a playground, play house and common room with book exchange (which also had a good selection of kids books). Lots of kids too. Good place if you are a family. Don’t count on the internet working though. Under 6’s don’t have to pay.

Definitely a good place to camp to visit the city of Cusco. You are in nature, but still right down in the old town. Surrounded by trees and stone walls. Hot shower, small kitchen and you meet travelers from all over the world to exchange experiences.

nice place, short way into the town and very close to the ruines of Sacsayhuaman

Good big grassy place with many overlanders

Beware of you chose to do your laundry downtown... there are lavanderías everywhere, but many will cheat on the weight. you may want to weight your stuff here before going down.

Report Check-In

Great spot in Cusco, very nice family. Campsite with all the amenities- kitchen, laundry, 20L water available to buy, van storage

Report Check-In

Nice place above town with many overlanders. Big grassy parking in 3 terraces.

Owners Mili and Edgar are nice. Hot showers. Water not potable.

Price 12s per person and also per rig.

The only problem was laundry service - they don't have a dryer so they just hang clothes outside. Weather was so-so but they still said that for sure it's gonna dry until the next day. Well, it didn't, it didn't in next three days. So I really recommend that you use another laundry service down in town, there are really dozens everywhere around.

Went to this place as everyone recommended it but were shocked how crowded it was - a bit like an RV park in Vegas 😉. So we decided to ask the owner of the big open grassy field just next to it if it were ok to stay there and he said yes, didn’t even charge anything for the 3 nights we stayed there peaceful and alone. The owner of Lala was a bit upset and said the place is ‘muy privado’ and we can not stay there which we found weird as we had the permission of the owner, whatever…

In any case if you want to stay in the open space outside the gated overland community make sure to ask the landlord first!

Camping très pratique sur les hauteurs de Cuzco.
Attention quand on arrive avec un gros camion (poids lourd) la ruelle a traverser est minuscule mais ça passe!

Just the place to be in Cusco. Great host Mili. And everything is clean. Big kitchen with space for coming together. We were about 7 cars, couples and singles and families. Had a good time together, while waiting to the current troubles and strikes being over. Also thanks to Mili, she did a really good job helping us in many different ways, which was easy, because she speaks english. Highly recommended.

Great camping near Saqsaywaman ruins and at 15min of the center of Cuzco ! The owner is friendly. We stayed one week and left our van during the Salkantay trek. It's 12s per person and 12s for the car by night. Hot shower, slow wifi, good kitchen, laundry.

Eau chaude, wifi lent, cuisine, lessive possible.

Very good camping! We left our car during the SALKANTAY trek. They charge 12 soles per car and 12 per person for the night. So the days we only left the car just paid 12 soles. Only accepts money, no cards. Hot showers, plenty of space, and clean bathrooms! Good green area!

Still the best place to stay when visiting Cusco. 20 min downhill walk to Plaza de Armas. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean and hot showers, clean toilets. Laundry 15 Sol / load, temperature as you demand, from cold to hot. No dryer, let the sun do the job. Spent a pleasant week here. Very recommendable
