Nice open and flat clearing in the forest. Very quiet and large. However, road up is steep with deep ruts. Need high clearance vehicle to get here. Road probably not suitable for large rigs

definitely want at least 8 inches of ground clearance, lots of mosquitoes and biting flies during the day.
Report Check-InHigh clearance definitely required. the trail is a bit overgrown so expect a few branches scraping the sides. My jeep wrangler made it just fine. There are remnants of a fire. Asolutely no one around so we had the place to ourselves.
Report Check-InParked on 2N24 just in from the neighborhood. Road further on seemed like mayyybe a higher clearance vehicle was needed (I have a ford escape). Super convenient location for getting to and from town. We camped here and then went to deep creek hot springs in the morning. Highly recommend!
