Description

MODERATOR NOTE: WARNING! Flash floods reported in this location. Please use caution
Access from the south side of the bridge, easy gravel/dirt road to get to the side of the river. Huge pebble/rock beach. The water is nice and clean, nice to take a dip and cool down. Was here on Easter Sunday and it was real busy. Everyone left by night. no one else in the morning. quite a bit of trash left behind. A little noisy from the traffic on the bridge, but had a good night sleep. Lots of different spots to park right next too the bridge with easy low clearance vehicle, but if you want to go further along the beach, 4x4 is recommended.

Latest Check-Ins

Here on a Saturday evening and only one family is around. Someone seems to have set up a semi-permanent camp near the entrance with a free roaming (friendly) dog and several cats.

Spot is beautiful and cozy. There are some trash cans near the bridge, so that's nice.

Report Check-In

Lots of people here on a Saturday night. Was able to go further down the stream and be secluded.

Another Easter, another busy day, but a quiet night. Nice water for sure. The pebbly gravel definitely needs 4x4.

Report Check-In

Nice gravel bar under the bridge. Loose rock and incredible swiming hole on the nueces river!

This spot is great! The description and directions were perfect.
