Description

Great place for a bit of a treat- 50$ for a private tent for 2 people with big breakfast included, beautifully clean with good beds and spotless amenities, electricity in the tents. Loads of hippos walk though the camp at night, with babies in tow, right between the tents- hippos and hyenas are heard constantly. Staff are very friendly and welcoming, a good stop on the way to Ishasha. Good restaurant and bar. They let us park in the turning circle and plug into electricity.

Latest Check-Ins

We decided to stay here as the National park charges 150 dollars for a 4x4 car. Here we paid 70 dollars in a private tent including breakfast . Also an option for 60 dollars for the smaller single bed tents. You see the animals in the camp. We saw buffalo, elephant and waterbuck as we travelled from the tarmac to the camp. Very friendly staff and hot showers.

Report Check-In

60 usd for a tent, very nice view, especially the food was very good. 15 usd for 3 course meal. In the night there were some hippos around.

Report Check-In

Nice stop over though a shame there is no camping. You can do bed and breakfast but no place to cook your own food so you have choice but to do full board! Updated prices, USD60 for a tent overlooking the river (basic but fine, shared ablutions, hot showers). Meals: USD3 for starters and desert, USD7 for main course lunch and USD15 for 3 course dinner. Good food.
